Im lookin at an 86 Cutlass Supreme for $2600.00 The mechanical is in great shape with a new tranny, intake, fuel pump, and straight pipes...but the body is shit...its in serious need of a paint job and a new passenger door...any comments on wether u guys/girls think this is a good deal

$2600 is far too high if it needs bodywork.

A high idle is also something that sellers will do to hide carb/choke problems. I would stay far away from that car.

Straight pipes? As in no mufflers or cats?
