I have 2 10" INfinity Kappa subs, 100.3DVC i think. I am building a ported box and I was wondering if anyone knew specs for one. I got some off their website but it doesnt mention all the specs I need like the overall dimensions of the box itself. It gives me the specs of the vent though.

Get the specs for the recommended volume of the box & calculate you own dims, then you can also make sure it fits in your trunk properly:thumbsup:

The volume is 1.50 ft^3 but thats only for one sub, do I just double it then or make it bigger? Also, how are you supposed to figure out the dims from the voulme? <-----not very good at geometry:nut:

1 cubic ft=1728" (12x12x12)
1728x1.5 cubic ft. = 2592 x 2 =5184

Volume=L x W x H
32x12x14=5376 cubic inches should be OK

Where should the vents be located, side by side right next to eachother or on seperate sides?

Usually the are just on top so there is less chance for them to become obstructed, but its up to you

on a ported box, most of the time, they are on the inside but its up to you

Ill probably put them on the inside. Another question, what kind of wood and how thick of wood should I use?

how much power do your subs put out RMS?

For a box that size I would probably use 5/8" MDF:thumbsup:

before you build that box make sure you know what you are tuning it to. The size and shape of your port will dictate the tuning of your box. there is a program that you can download from www.caraudiolounge.com that will allow you to figure out the optimal port size. you must also remember that your demensions are for interior volume. you must take into consideration the size of the wood you are using. And i would use 3/4" mdf for a ported box. you dont want any flex at all or it will change the frequency. just go to caraudiolounge.com and ask around. if you pm "wiseguy" he will help you alot. he helped me build several of my boxes to spec and i was able to hit 145.6 db with an sq sub, which is essentially what you are using.

if you need more help after visiting caraudiolounge pm me and i may be able to help you.
