Alright i'm planning to buy some new bilstein shocks cuz i have pretty blown shocks now. since im a newbie to all this still i was shopping on bavarian auto sports's website and it says it needs "Please note: * must re-use lower spring perch " and it only says this for the front set, not the rear.

can anyone enlighten me on all this, im kinda lost and yes i searched before making this thread.

The perch is already on your vehicle. When you purchase and install them, they ask that you use the factory perches.

Btw - great choice for shocks!

well if youre gonna get bilstein shocks, they make matched spring and shock combinations...and they are definetly top notch suspensions

I think I seen you in Macleod Trail the other day.

If it wasnt you, you still got a pimpin car.
I wish I had an M3 =)

H&R's, Eibach's or Apex... The model (sport vs. race) will depend on how stiff / low of a ride you want.

...And Koni makes shocks/struts for E39's. They have 2 different listings, depending on the model of your E39.
