View Full Version : Clutch Install.
I was just wondering if anyone here can install a clutch on my 88 CRX. Or if you know anybody that is able to. I just dont wanna get killed by the shop Prices.. Thanks guys.
buy a manual, give yourself at least 2 days, and just dive in. Droping the tranny isnt that hard, you just gotta do it...:)
any troubles could probably be answered on this board, or a honda one at least.

youll need some 10mm pan style sockets, that or 12mm i dont remeber, and also a trorque wrench to tighten the flywheel bolts to spec, its fairly straight forward and relativly easy

The hardest part of doing a clutch is getting the damn axle nuts off. If you can do that the rest should take you less than 2 hours to do. You can do it with jack stands and a floor jack. Having someone there to help when reinstalling the tranny is nice but not neccessary. You don't even really need a torque wrench. I've done quite a few honda clutches.
