14B out of a 1G 5 SPD DSM...

the Dodge Turbos...they are quite nice and easy to come by...

those two are what I have seen on a lot of backyard Turbo Build-ups

He wanted to know what turbo is GOOD for his integra. Try a T3/T4. 14b's and dodge turbos pretty much suck ass :dunno:

I have a T3 with 60 trim and .63AR in my posession I have right now (too bad I don't have a car to use it with :()

If you can find one, it should work relatively well for you. It spools quick and it should generate power all the way to redline.

HTH :)

the 2 turbos I listed can be found cheaply though...vs being able to find a T3/T4 set up for low bucks...

it is getting harder to find 14b in good shape, it can be done but most of those turbos are getting a lot of mileage on them and need work done on them.

I agree, a 14b out of a Mitsu would be a good choice as far as money and driving on the street. But the original post is so vague. If he put down what numbers he would like to acheive and how streetable he wants it then yes, it would be easier to find a suitable turbo....

For now I will say a t88 would be the perfect turbo, it will add more power and more hp.

i would have to agree now. dodge turbo's, although cheap, have specific .48 exhaust housings and a shitty exhaust wheel. if you really want a cheap turbo, try for the ford t3, or 300zx single turbo t3. i've been told these have stage 1 and stage 2 equivilant exhaust wheels respectivly from alamo.

How much does T3/T4's usually go for now? And would this turbo be better than a td05 18g that I'm planning to use on my b18a...

the TD05 18G will spool fairly quickly and give a moderate top end for a higher revving engine...I know that GReddy was using them in the Prelude Turbo Kits they used to make...not sure if they will are...and that turbo was fairly nicely matched for a 2.2L Motor...

I would be happy to get 175-200 at the wheel. Yes my bud has a 5th gen prelude w/ greddy turbo kit and it spools very quick. I would want to have the same setup but I don't know how they are going to perform on a 1.8L engine.
