Well I don't know if there's Hockey fans that like console games but......... I was able to rent NHL2K3 for the PS2 today.:clap:
Man what can I say this is the closest to actually playing the real thing. The graphics are ok (ie the cut sceens and player models are so so..NHL Hitz 2003 is best for that) the game game play is awsome!!
There's no blow out scores, you can pin guys on the boards and fight them off etc...If you like the EA Hockey series well this might turn you off a bit. Give it a try you will be trying to make plays and work for your goals...!!!
Oh yah no cheezy music during the game play...It's like you are watching a Hockey game on ESPN. Well ESPN does the play by play in the game. All you get is ice fx and crowd fx... :clap:

Oh yah the only thing that really sucks ass:thumbsdow is that there is no online play, The XBOX will have online play with this title using XBOX LIVE!
