A friend was at a gas station today, and they were pulling out numbers for the signs. The guy had a "1" in his hand so my friend asked it the prices were going down. The guy said the "1" was for one dollar !! He said the price is going up in a few days.

My friend thought he was joking, but the attendant said he wasn't.

I hope this is a sick joke.... :thumbsdow

Anyone else heard anything ??
:dunno:

Isn't the price of oil going down? hence gas prices should be following.....albeit very slowly....that would really suck to see $1 a litre for gas

I spoke to some one who's father is a head honcho for a gas company in town and they said gas will probably reach $1/L this winter. I really hope not.

well thats what they said about this summer. Its obviously gonna happen eventually. I mean its been climbing since gas itself first came out, only a matter of time

There's a possibility that oil prices could go up in the short term due to the stoppage of oil production off the gulf coast due to hurriance ivan. But it shouldn't flatuate that much since it's not a long term interruption.

Hmm... perhaps I should start looking for a daily driver that doesn't need 94:)

or you could simply turn down the boost.

Filling up with more than a dollar gas SUCKS. I had to do it in Radium this summer. Never felt so gouged in my life...

Damnit.

I filled up in Vancouver for 93.9 and on the Island for 100.9.

If I see this in Calgary I'm outta here.

I really doubt it'll pass $1 in Calgary this year.

And cost of hybrid still doesn't make sense until it hits $2/L.
