Ahhh, so I moved from cowtown to saskatoon. It's definately different than Calgary, but I saw some "done up" cars. So anybody in the area, make yourself known, it's nice to see what local cars there are.

Car scene from what I have seen is HURTING
I've seen only one nicely modified car....which was a turbo crx...the rest is all rice (most notably a MK4 Jetta with huge Mugen Power, TEIN, apexi, HKS, 5 zigen decals all over the doors)

diesel population is crazy here....I've only seen a handful of 1.8T/2.0/VR6 jettas/golfs, pretty much every veedub I've seen has been a TDI. I've also only seen a handful of non diesel mbz's..the rest of them are out there smokin it up :D

nismo, I'm at the U of S too, I have to agree, there are way to many TDI's here, it's like almost every vw is Diesel. What are you taking at the U of S? Did you bring your car? are you going to switch plates so you can get the cheep ass Sask insurence?

I've seen a few ok cars, there is an NSX driving around somewhere.

That white Jetta is .......... Nice Mugen decal. It goes good with the backwards TEIN one.

My car stayed in Calgary though. Stays in a nice warm place until summer.

I'm doing my BSc in physiology (2nd year at the moment...)
I don't have the car with me this year...I only have a like 7 mintue busride to school so its not bad at all...will probably bring the car along with me next year

Spotted a nice "Civic Type R" (not rice..) yesterday...cw paint..5 lug conversion with ITR gunmetal wheels..cf hood..cf front lip..car looked dizzamn nice!

This cities scene is really weak. I'm trying to change that though. With most of the local shops still selling garbage like led muffler tips and 6ft wings, it will probably continue to be lame for a while. It is slowly getting better though.

I am also a student at the U of S - 3rd yr commerce.

The owner of the CRX's name is Dan. He goes to school at the UofS also. He just signed up on the 306motorclub forum. And I finally saw that white mk4 jetta today! :NoComment: :banghead:

I also saw a black Mx3 Precidia, with a red hatch today. Let's hope he did that not-by-choice.

Never seen it. There is a similar lincoln that is bagged. It's like a purple / deep pink, and has low life customs stickers all over it. :bigpimp:

0h n03s!!!! I spotted the white jetta this weekend....AND ITS DE-DECALIFIED (in proper english: he removed his decals :D)

Only ones left on the car are the mugen power ones (I am 99.9% sure of this...he was going the other way so I couldn't get a clear look) and some smalll text on the bottom of the doors which I couldn't read while going by
