Is she the driver or he the driver?

What are they doing @ 3am?

Sound like driver fatique since it's a single car incident. They should've taken a cab if that is the case.

By no means this is accident and I'm sure it's preventable. I hope they recover.

I know I sound like an ass saying it but this is not like 3pm and t-boned by a drunk driver. Your body throw into sleep mode between 12am and 6am. It's the worst and most dangerous time to be behind the wheels.

You can blame construction or whatever you want, unless there's a 3rd party identified involved in this incident, the fact still remains he's too slow to respond to whatever caused this.

But I do hope they recover, I don't wish death on anyone, especially the passenger which has limited control on the situation.

Damn, just remember that it did rain a bit that night and it was cold. Road may freeze a bit. Was he on summer rubber?

Sounds like she'll recover although may be scarred. Hope the guy pull thru.
