You should be able to find some for way less than that. Most have 2xxxxx on the body anyway but not on the engine. Some tard might just be overpriced sometimes. :dunno:

In high school I really wanted a 240, and I saw a lot of them for anywhere from $500 to $5000. Maybe its the drift phenomena, kids wants to RWD to go with the trend, thus driving up demand/prices.

2xxxxx kms is alot if some guy buys it for $6000 they have to be an idiot. :guns: Its practially on the virge of braking down :dunno:

They were expensive then.. and they're expensive now...

You wanna talk about prices going through the roof's.. you should look at the AE86's... I could have bought a mint one for $600 back in the days.. Now I got to dish out 3G's for one with rusty fenders...

You can blame Initial D for that!!! Expect to see the price go up if they bring it to TV here!

ka24de are built to last forever, the transmission will never fail on you, so even if it does have high km's, and the body is in good condition, just buy it

I got mine for 5200, '93 fully loaded. Body has 200,xxxx kms but the engine was new with 30,xxx kms on it.

You just have to wait and be patient, there was a '91 on sale a while back for 3500 and it was aircared. That was 4 months ago and it sold fast.

The main reason for the prices in Alberta is because I think there isn't as much 240sx's in your province. If you look in the States 240's are cheap, and i mean cheap. More there= harder to sell = lower prices.

I know what you mean.. I paid 12500 for my 95.. I felt I paid too much.. But It seems anything from 95+ the prices start to double.. The lowest I saw my model was for 9G's or something.. Kinda kiking myself now..

I'm no Econ major but when demand goes up and supply stays the same (since they arn't making them anymore) prices go up. Just like how there has been a recent spike in prices with S13's. S14's, AE86's and Supras because of the drift craze. Prices will go up further if Initial D goes mainstream. good cartoon too!

If you get one, make sure you check thouroughly for rust, underneath especially.
