Well, after much debating, again, my car is now up for sale.

It's an 85' with an 88' motor. The Km's on the engine should be around 125,000. The head has been rebuilt, the turbo is in great shape with no play.

The car will come with all the mods listed on the following link, minus the wheels which have been sold.

The newest addition to the motor is a Gillis manual boost controller.

Most of the mechanical parts on my car have either been replaced with stock parts, or upgraded with performance pieces. And most of the items have less than 1yr of use on them. I've babied this car, and have always has it maintained by a highly knowledgeable Merkur XR mechanic from Southern Alberta Merkur Association located in NE Calgary.

Here's the link with all the info of the car.

And here's a pic for those who don't want to click on the link:)

The price...$3500obo

The car is located in Calgary. If you want to look at the car, my brother (rage2) can show it to you.

how many kms on the whole car?

MrX

There's 220K on the whole car.

CV's been done around 10K ago, drive shaft bushing (Guibo) has been done 20K ago. The diff and the transmission runs without a hitch, no diff noise, and no transmission grinds. All syncros are fine.

Merkur XR4Ti is the Ford Sierra out in europe. Kinda like how Acura is Honda here, Infiniti is Nissan, Lexus is Toyota, etc.

Except the Merkur brand didn't really survive too well in North America, with only 2 cars, XR4Ti and the Scorpio.
