Nice nice... congrats... I've driven one a few times, and I love the shifter on the dash, probably the best feature of the car, along with the recaros.... But i still like having torque, which i found none of with that car... anway, nice purchase.

Extremely fun car but @$25K is a bit much.

So you knock $2K off and got 1.8% finance? That's pretty good.

Love the shifter and seat. But the exterier style just doesn't do much for me.

Nice purchace dude. It'll be alot of fun for ya I'm sure. I certainly like it and the shifter is right in the perfect spot. I wish more car companies put it there.

Sure you can, i paid only $26,000 plus gst for a premium acura rsx that makes an extra 10ft lbs torque, is about 100 lbs lighter in weight, full leather interior, full climate control, heated seats and factory 16" mag wheels.

I like both cars as they are very similar, but liked the extra features on the dc5 chassis for a similar price.

Fun cars. I didn't like them at first but they have been growing on me since I went and sat in one at the Honda dealership. As they've been becoming slightly more predominant around Calgary I have seen some very nice ones, alot of potential! Good luck and good choice

Nice car! I've owned a couple of Civics and in alot of ways they were the best cars I've ever owned. The Bimmer comment was ridiculous. :thumbsdow Sure they are great cars but I could only see myself in a Bimmer when I get into my 40's and am forced to wear a suit & tie. The idea is to get cars that your dad DOESN'T drive. The day I see a yuppie grey hair in a suit & tie get out of a modded Eclipse, I'm selling my car.

Had A RSX---sold it for The ep3----The secretary look just did not work for me---and I know for sure the EP3 is quicker---tracked both cars with different drivers. In addition The torque is equal at the wheels---not sure why more is lost in the RSX---. In addition the EP3 seems to have better brakes the Electronic Assist system helps out alot. The EP3 comes with 16" wheels as well!
Oh ya the The RSX premium tips the scales at 1230 the EP3 1245---that is 32 pounds not a 100. The feature I hated the most in the Rsx was the freakin Leather seats--slid around in them like a Mofu on hot Butter!!!

TO top it off not everybody in town including there Grandma has AN EP3

25,900 big ones For a Base 2005 RSX---is way too pricey the darn Thing doesn't even have:
- Map Lights Vanity Mirrors,
-Cruise, Sunroof,
-Alloys,
-Micron Air Filtration System,
-Leather-wrapped 3-spoke steering wheel
which are included in the SIR which runs the same HP figures. Sounds like the Sir is a better deal to me than the Base RSX. Would not of bought an Sir over My Rsx if it wasn't a better deal.

Go Drive A New SIR and then go drive a 1998-2000 SIR and then tell me how much you hate the new SIR.
When I bought my USED 2003 SIR I test drove a 2000 SIR right before test drving the 2003 SIR---hmm no comparison---the 2000 just felt so cheap in comparison---especially the interior. To make the 2000 go you had to rev the living shit out of it---sorry I need a little more torgue than like 110 lbs/ft.

I most admit at first I was not crazy about the looks of the new SIR---but it just grew on me--so different than everybody else's car.
