anyone else taken the mrc course and know if it is absolutly essential to go to class? i *think* all the notes are on the internet, and i can't stand the class as the teacher is smart like a pole.

the lab is easy, make a power point presentation, or a word document, its boring but i don't have to listen to someone repeat the same thing 6 times in a row.

I actually did really bad in CPSC 203. :rofl: Yes, I know I'm an idiot.

It's a little misleading, the first 2 or 3 weeks.

First 2-3 weeks, it's:

"To turn on the computer, you want to press the 'power' button."
or
"A mouse is a point and click input device."

Which made me want to :banghead:

So I stop going to lectures and only hand in assignments.

Then I guess somewhere farther down the line, they actually get into other shit like worms, viruses, etc. Stuff that computer literate people know. I know just enough to be able to use computers, but don't give a shit about all that other crap. So I actually didn't know. But I was never there.

So when the final came around, there were questions that I had no idea what the answers were.

If I had actually given it a chance, especially later in the semester, I would've done good. But since I didn't, I fucked my self quite harshly.

I took 2203 last year. It's easy. As long as you hand in all assignments and do all tests you are good too go. I never went to that class and got an A.

I dont think I even went to half of the lectures.

I missed the midterm and didn't even know it because I skipped so many classes in a row, but the prof let me write it anyways haha. Worst class EVAR!!
