Kit car maybe. If its not why would you do that to a ferrari?

Something's wrong with the roof line and rear side window shapes, It's NOT a Ferrari.

Judging by where the lights pop up a whole helluvalot of front end was added onto something

I hafta agree with RickDaTuner, that's most likely a Pontiac Fiero-based kit car with a standard spaceframe/chassis stretch. They're much more common in the States, but there are a few in Canada.

It's a real Ferrari. Either a BB512 or a 512LM, hard to tell. Could lose a couple of the logo's, but whatever makes you happy. The pics were taken in Quebec, so it might be Lawrence Stroll's... He's THE MAN in Canada when it comes to Ferraris....

Well, I could only find one pic of a 512LM, and sure isn't THAT.

Now, it does look a LOT like a BB512. I found some BB512 pics here (http://www.motorbase.com/vehicle/by-id/1649924376/gallery.ehtml) , but the Quebec car has those huge fender flares and strange intake that make me doubt its authenticity. However, it could be a rare version of the Berlinetta Boxer. If it's not real, whoever owns it has put a LOT of work into making this car look authentic.

Wow. Just wow. A BB512 auctioned off for £595,700.00 (incl. premium) in May.

That's $1,370,140.05 Canadian, or $1,074,999.09 American.

Astonishing, to say the least.

Yep, that is a real 512Bb look at the roof line and rear window

Nasty-assed rice kit and badges though...

pretty nice cars...ferrarri mite be riced, but still not bad

This car does look riced-out today However, perhaps this could have once been some 'gemballa-type' tuner version. My guess is that a long time ago, the first owner of this car bought it brand new as it looks now.
some h/core ferrari collector probably owns this car like the guy berserkerCatSpl referred to.

I agree....you can see her in the background in pic#6...lol.

Oh yeah there is a Yellow ferrari of sorts there. Ah well, reminds me of the wacky bodykits that Gembella and Koenig loved to make on exotics......looks horrible now though. Real or Not.

Poor Enzo's rolling over in his grave...that is one f$%ked up Ferrari :barf:

Kit car's are not allowed into the country 'assembled' or in one container containing enough parts to resemble a vehicle. Plenty of 'kit cars' around.

It's not the same car. Lines are different, different side mirros and the Dupont one has more scoops.

haha except for a minor difference: one is a 12 cylinder Ferrari and the other is piece o' shiiiiet v6 GM low rent kit car.

i don't post pics of crap cars. nice try, but that shitbox doesn't look even close to a ferrari except for the shit yellow car. that's a pretty shitty replica overall.

sorry for using the word shit too many times in one shitty post.

It's NOT the same manufacturer.
The dupont listing is a kit car, and though patterned off of the Konig BB512, it is not a real one.
The original posted pics are of a 512BB Ferrari, modified by Konig in Germany.
Konig was particularily popular in the 80's, and is also well known for thier outlandish body work, and twin-turbo engine mods.
They modified Ferraris, Lambos, Mercedes, etc.

Here is a more recent and subdued example.

The car in the Dupont registry looks nothing like the images here. In fact, it's NOT EVEN CLOSE!!!!

It's real - and rare. Nice pics BTW.

If I had to guess ... it has a couple more modifcations to it to the body, but really just minor stuff.
