How to connect laptop to audio?

i pluged my laptop into the audio in in the back of my cd reciver and i cant figure out how to get it to platy through my system... what do i do?

depends what system you have, check all the audio settings on the laptop, make sure you have it plugged in right.

put your deck to the aux setting. (there am, fm, cd, and aux and maybe tape, set it to aux)
