its not a turbo; rs trim :( i will have it upgraded eventually though! Insurance is already hurt on this car especially for me im only 17. :D

Aparently August first all insurance will drop down, at least for us younger people.
Not 100% sure if this is actually gonna happen, cause things do take more time to pass and all that trash.

I heard it was better to buy a regular Eclipse and later adding the turbo because it saves money. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I would think only if you lie to your insurance company about not having a turbo in your car.

The cost on the conversion will probably negate anything you saved on the sticker price.

it won't save you any money except for insurance because they won't know what is under the hood which is NOT classified as insurance fraud of any sort, the only thing is that if you get into an accident, they may not cover your turbo.

you might also save a bit more because the chrysler engines don't crankwalk like the turbo engine. But it doesn't happen as often as many people think.

The chrysler engine responds well to boost i believe also. at 8 psi you will be at arond 250-270 hp! On stock internals of course. :tongue:
