Hey guys,

One of the guys I know from the viper club is selling his new 2005 Viper Club of America Special Edition SRT/10! There are only 50 in the world and 2 in Canada (The other one was under a tarp in the back) so it's pretty rare to see! I went to the dealership to take some pics today so here they are....

Enjoy,

Lucas

Mind my ignorance, but whats the difference between this and a normal Viper ?

lol good question...performance wise, NOTHING! But visual... theres the special yellow paint and black stripe, yellow stiching, yellow console, black rims, and the Number /50.
The whole "VCA Special Edition" is basically a ploy by Dodge to get people to buy a viper...

I dunno man, it's a great looking Viper and all -- but look at the dials for the a/c and heat. Heck, look at the radio -- all look to be outta a Dodge Dakota or something. I think that if people are wanting to spend that kinda cash for a car that powerful, they should back it up with a kickass sport-luxury interior.

Mercedes-Benz CL65 for example. :)

hehe its an american muscle car - the interior is about function not form. It works, its not pretty and its not supposed to be. The interiors you're thinking of are in euro sports cars

Yeah, and you can probably get a couple of Vipers for the price of a CL65 too. Consider a 2004 CL600 has an MSRP of like $190,000 and the CL65 will no doubt be more.

The CL65's are pretty common too, I think there's about 9 of them at the dealer here. [/sarcasm]

I love both but they're different cars, different purposes, different markets.

I care not whether it's a functional interior. If I pay that much for a car, it needs more than plastic and a bit of aluminum to justify it. Fast car, cool exterior, but meh....

Thats bang on...that interior was obviously an afterthought...looks like they stole it from a burger king jungle gym.

Like the cars tho...just wish they'd jazz up the interior, because yeah, thats definatly sub par, especially for a limited edition.

a little ove the top, unique however, I'd take a stock silver one.. The company I used to work for had 3 viper owners, always neat to see.

For those shopping for cl65s, the 254000 MSRP will likely allow you to get a viper for yourself, a mustang cobra for your kid, and an escalade for the wife..

:dunno:

The next MY starts in late august early september usually, unless a manufacturer is releasing a model early or late.
