Car has run 14.8 with stock engine just with header and exhaust so its a quick car. I have the timeslip to prove it!

Im looking for $5700 obo or willing to trade for 1990 Civic SiR (Right hand drive) and $$$

theres no way that car runs 14.8 with a Si D series motor with just headers and exhaust, is there a differant motor in there

I got the timeslip to prove it... its the stock D16a6! I have a video clip of it running a 15.2 at our local track.

Was it just me or did your car throw out a huge pile a smoke at the end there?

oh and as a honda driver for the last 6 years, working on hondas building hondas and racing hondas...I find it extremely hard to believe you ran a 14.8 with just a header and exhaust.....most b18's dont run lower than mid 15's....

That smoke was because i didnt have a cat in my car at the time.... and I swear all i have is a D16a6 with a Pacesetter Header and 2 1/4" header back exhaust. I was running 20x8x14" slicks at the time of my 14.8second run. On street tires i can run a 15.1. And just so you know i live in bc and i race at mission raceway (sea level) so our cars are alot faster here.

i call bullshit on the 14.8, i've got a b16 in my civic and although ive never raced it, my friends got the exact same setup (b16a1, header, intake, exhaust) + a 50 shot of nitrous to boot and he ran a 14.06.

Well at our local track there is:

2 y8 crx's doing low 15's
andreys sohc non vtec 12.4 (Turboed D16a6)
rajans 13.34 sohc vtec (Turboed D16y8)

There is a list of fast civics, note bluelight it running a stock b18c5 in a ef and his time was 12.6.

Also note the guy i was racing in the video his best time now is BlackCRX - [email protected] SOHC (D16y8)

I can vouche for this car. Cyco is in our car club and I have a JDM B16A in my car. I don't know how that car runs that fast, but it does, and I guarantee it, he can beat me in my car.

I've seen the engine, and I've been in the car... it pulls extremely hard and anyone in our club would say the same.

I've also seen under the hood... its a SOHC D16A6... and from what i see, its got a header. Cams, stuff like that... i dunno, i think the little guy has something up that sleeve, but i can tell you this... there is no turbo, there is a D16A6 that pulls harder than I've seen any other N/A D series run.
