Hey all,

I'm working on a custom intake system for a friends car. I need to know what to connect a 3" pipe to the throttle body with. Any ideas? Something I can pick up at Canadian Tire or something? Leo? A little help? ;) :D

I was thinking I could just cut the stock rubber tubing that is connected to the tb, and put the piping through the other end, but I don't want to permanently alter it....

Thanks for any help!

:)

I'm not using pvc. I've heard that PVC can let of a toxic gas when heated. I have 3 inch stainless steel bends that I'm using. But I need to connect it to the throttle body... somehow...

How about a 3" hose clamp Davan... done and done...

But what is the clamp attatched to? I can't clamp the metal pipe to the metal throttle body, cause it won't be an airtight seal... i need some kind of rubber or something in between, that i can put the clamp around...

get some rubber 3inch tubes...(Maybe a piece of radiator hose if there is that big) and use hose clamps..go to canadian tire or part source they should have something there

Get some heavy duty silicon hoses from Detroit Diesel. Buy them by the inch.
