Has anyone ever owned one of these things? Do they have nay major problems? Anybody know if they're reliable or need high maintenance like BMW's? Also, what's the average going rate for like an 86 or 87 of these?

I won't recommend a near 20 yr old Jag ..

but if a 96 or 97, actually a good buy, you can pick a 96/97 for $20K range ! that is what people asking for even just a Prelude !

They drive nice, good power, and more reliable for those late 90's model ..

But if you really mean a 86 Jag .. :( unless si=omeone give you one, or really cheap .. otherwise ..don't touch them, unless you have a Machanic dad ! :D

deifnately not reliable, better off with an old bimmer...someone we know had an 87 Vanden Plas like 6 years ago and one time the gas tank like erupted.hahaah the filler cap came shooting off
