I'm really interested in them, and curious to know how you guys like them?

Thanks!

I bought one for my gf, and she really likes it. I can't really say how well it performs for 1/4 and such since I havn't taken it to the track. Also, I got the auto with sport shift for her :banghead:

Test drove one a few weeks ago. They are great cars for females. My wife loves her Protege 5. They are sporty handling, well equipped vehicles that lack power. If you are looking for something with a little getup & go, you would be better off looking elsewhere.

SoSlowDx has one. I think it's a really good car. I had a Protege5 a couple years ago, and really liked it. Only bad thing about it is the lack of power, which is why I got a WRX.

Basically, if you don't give a shit about going fast, get it!

as nice as mazda 3s are, they are still econ-box. So you shouldn't be expecting any major performance from an econ box

Love mine, it is lacking in the power department, but makes it up and then some in handling; I think It's one of the best cars in its class, check out the Mitsu RalliArt too, it's really nice.

Good point. The Ralliart Lancer actually has decent power comparable to the Nissan Spec V.
