Ok.. So I got my truck with the command start installed. Now for some reason today it decided to start on it's own wile i was at work.. does anyone know anything about this kind.. or if I can program it or something? I simply turned the switch off so I didn't risk that again.. I'll run out of gas!
Someone please let me know..

If it is a "Command Start", they have a sensor mounted under the hood. There should be a yellow wire going to it. It should be connected to the heater hose, or radiator hose. These sensors gave a lot of trouble. If you cut the wire to it, the vehicle will not start on it's own.
Hope this helps.

Either that or you have it set on cold start. meaning it will start every couple hours on its own. It should only run for 15- 25 min or so. then shut down by itself.

just a fyi, a car can idle for days on a tank of gas.
