LMAO,... when we moved from the east side to the west side my roomie's at the time used my van and tied a box spring from underneath so you couldn't see the rope and did the same thing,...LMAO.

That's hilarious!!!

And as for the car trap,... on nosehill and silver springs,... cars go in there at least once a month!
Well before they changed the bus routes.

Yeppers, couldn't believe someone would not be paying enough attention to realize they are driving into a hole in the ground....lol, not to mention....look at the warning signs....I assume the other side would be similar.

it is probably tied down, i have driven with a matress on top of a van before and if you dont hold down the front of it it folts in half and give you some major drag, thats prolly all he is doing... you can tell by the grip he is using that he is trying to hold it down, not pull it forward.

What are you supposed to say when you get stuck in a bus trap?

Sorry officer I couldn't see the 6ft orange sign and the three stop signs. Please pull your gun out and end it now.

my community has one of these right at our entrance and usually once a month you see some shamed out person getting their car pulled out. But I've also witnessed F350s going quick fly over the bars in the road block. That takes balls to try out the first time.

The mattress man is on another level in my books........

You just have to go fast enough to skip across the top!! :nut:

As for the first picture, I used to work at Williams Brothers furniture, and you wouldn't believe the crazy ways people would pick up their furniture and appliances. Anything to save the $30 delivery charge!!

Although I didn't see any strings, I would assume it was tied down,... poorly. There was quite a bit of slippage occurring (you can tell because it's hanging off the back by about 2 feet, and there's about 2 feet of free space on the roof in front), which is why he is exercising his "kung fu grip"

Plus the drag force isn't too bad when you're going down crowchild during peak hours at 30KM/H! with your blinkers on.

there's a bus trap on bow bottom trail that blocks traffic from getting to queensland and bonavista, and there's at least one car/truck stuck in there a week. Last week I saw a Grand Cherokee that didn't make it hehe.
