You can always bid at auction with us, we just picked up a nice Silvia K's at auction for a customer this week. 15 year old Silvia's are getting rare in recent times, so our exporters haven't been stocking them.

It'll do the 1/4 faster since it will have the shorter gearing than the JDM silvias. USDM 4.09:1 JDM: 3.43:1

Why an old silvia?? Because you can buy an older 240 here too.. Or is it the RHD you're looking for..

it wouldnt cost that much... a good condition silvia is about 7-9 g's...about the same to build it as i mentioned before. as don juan sed , it'd be a bit faster cuzza the tranny.

There is a reason they come with tall gears, they're turbocharged. The same things goes for NA 240's with short gears. It's better suited to have tall gears in a turbo car isn't it?

Hey jegger, I'd suggest going through Import concern like I did, i'm the one who just bought the silvia through them, and Christian is a great guy to deal with.
you just have to have patience and bid at the auctions, i missed 2 before i won my car but the one i did win was the best out of the bunch. (even though it only took me 2 weeks to find a car)
Oh man i'm losing sleep thinking about this thing! should be here somewhere around late october, man this is gonna be one looong month:cry:

heres my car!!

Waiting for it sucks. Especially when you just have the 2 pictures and an auction sheet to tie you over.

I'll have mine late Oct to early Nov.

At least it gives you time to get all the mods you might want to put on it.

The taller gears mean that the power from the turbo charged engine is a little more "drivable" for everyday use with novice drivers (sonone who just uses it for transport). The taller gears will give a higher top speed while shorter ones are better for acceleration and require better driving. Which is why the very first mod for JDM silvias is gears, after intake exaust and boost controller. Same goes for TT 300zx owners. And since all RWD Nissans have the same differential (89+), the swap is easy.

Actually the didn't N/A z32's had r200 vlsd while TT's had the R230 which is alot bigger. Also the 240 had r200's. Not sure about skylines or 350z's.

Yes that is true, but the center section where the axel tubes bolt on is the same, making them completely interchangable with everything from S13+ 240's, Z32 300z's, J30's, R32 and R33 Skylines, R34 Skyline GTS and GTS-T not the GTR, The 350Z I'm not sure about.

Thanks, i don't have a final quote on the price yet but it should be somewhere around $6500-$7000. As for details about the car, there will always be a few details missed, but Christian will get a full damage/history report on the car which is the most important stuff.
just give the guys at import concern a shout and if your serious about it they will put a car at your front doorstep:thumbsup:

You are wrong about the center sections being interchangable. Just give it a try you'll see. The r230 is much bigger. Also not all off them have the flange (usually 6 bolt on the diff side some are on the hub side. Unless I don't understand what it is your getting at. Pm me.
