How hard is the install and what is required (quick summary) ..

think it'll work on 4gen ?

It took me about 10min to replace the factory trunk lock with the new one and about 20min to find the right wire to tap off the compustar and run a wire from the brain to the trunk popper. I have no idea if it'll work on the 4th gen. It depends on what your stock lock cyclinder and mounting holes look like.
