rally car at u of c

Anyone seen the rally car at u of c?
its got like some Auto Part stickers on it as well. I dont know what exactly it says. By looking at the interior it got cage and stuff and everything. Looks like a real rally car. Just wondering if anyone knows about this car or no. If its a real one or a wanna be.

It wasnt in that good condition. I mean, the pic above you can see. Ont the left side of the exhaust, its kinda messed up. On the bumper.

it could be the allmakes car? allmakes is a car maintance shop, does alot of good work on subies.

Well it could be. My buddy who was with me at the time, his dad owns the allmakes garage. So he told me that he is sponsoring the rally car. And on one side of the car it said "Abdulla Lee", so i am guessing hes the driver or something. Might be a real rally car just low class maybe...

I'm assuming yes, because that is the giant sticker that runs down the bottoms of the doors. I saw it at Northland Mall as well.

That car is the real deal,
It was Tom Mcgeer's (5 or 9 time Canadian chmpion) original Subaru. That car has seen some of the most important rally history in Canada, it was sold to a racer (Dave Koszegi in BC) who ran it for a while then to a local guy, it has run a couple of local events. Hopefully it will continue to run here, it is a competitive car. You would look a little beat too after all the events this car has done.

I question that driving it around town would ruin it. Im pretty sure it undergoes alot more thrashing during a rally race than the streets of calgary could throw at it.:rolleyes:

Alright everyone...just calm down...its not the "Real Deal" by any stretch of the imagination. It is rally ready but not in the best shape. It belongs to an aquaintence of mine. I'll get more details by early next week.

Hey all

just to confirm your curiosity it is the real deal. nothing fake about it. the reason you saw it on the road was coz there was a rally at edson on the 25 and 26 of september. thereafter it was being driven for a couple of days in town. it is not used as a daily driver. i am the owner of the car and have just put it up for sale. it has 32000km and i doubt if that would come from daily driving around town. the car is posted in this site
