If you think the Chrysler Crossfire should look more lairy, you're probably in a minority of one. Despite this, the manufacturer is about to launch a range of Startech styling accessories to make it look more unusual than ever.
Better still, Startech is developing a Crossfire with a 3.8-litre engine, which will give the vehicle's performance a major boost:
-300 bhp and 291 lbf.ft, the latter at 3800 rpm
-0-62 mph in 5.9 seconds
-Top speed limited to 155 mph
So far, Chrysler is yet to make an official announcement on the arrival of the 3.8S, as it will be called. In the interim, however, owners of standard Crossfires can adorn them with new Startech kit:
-Front and rear spoilers and diffusers
-Chrome mirror covers, grille and side vents
-19-inch front and 20-inch rear alloy wheels
-Leather and aluminium gearshift and handbrake levers
Prices are yet to be announced, but sales will begin in mid-October - with the 3.8S coming next year.
