Car has been serviced at a VOLVO dealership its whole life they have all the records and have just recently(last 10 000 KM) done an extensive tune up including:

All Brand new fluids and filters.

this car needs absolutely nothing, runs extremely well!

how many km on the spare engine? why dont u drop that one in?
and how about a trade?

The spare engine and tranny combo has 120 000 km on it. The reason i am not swapping it in is that this car runs too well to justify all that work. also these motors are almost indestructible I have had 3 740 turbos all with more than 350 000 km on the original motors and the all ran great.

Anyways the point is I am looking for a project and this car is too nice to start modifying so i am selling it. I might be open to trades depending on what you have.

what kind of fuel economy do these things get?

It is a 4 cylinder turbo, so obviously it wont be as good as a civic, but with the 5 speed and driving conservatively you can get pretty good mileage.

that being said i always fill up with premium gas because it is a turbo. I get about 550 km to a tank and it costs about $35 to fill with premium...

if premium is ~.85 (im guessing) you would take 41 liters to top off, so i make that about 38mpg? i could be wrong...

38 seems dangerously high, i would say about 21 - 24 probably. i dont really pay too much attention to it though, all i know is that it has been about the same as my other 740 turbos.

I am pretty sure it is a 50 litre tank as well. So it would be about $35 - 40 to fill
