Hi guys/girls,
I was looking at a 1998 honda and the car looked fine physically but the exhaust tip looked like it was burnt or very rusted. I'm not sure if this would be a problem but if anyone has some input as to why the tip is rusted that would be helpful. Thanks!

doh....I forgot to say that I was am sort of new to this forum, but mainly just lurking around and reading the articles...
I am looking for a car and that is why I am asking about the exhaust tip. Also, I heard that some people can get 'carfax's'? If someone has an account I was wondering if it possible to help me run a scan on the vin for the car...thanks!

Hello black94gt,
I think I might have described it incorrectly. It is a stock exhaust, and the tip (about a 1/3") is red/brown (but it still looks solid, the tip is not flaking)
