hit a deer tonight...

on my way home from hockey tonight on old banff coach road... came outta the ditch, his head hit my bumper and blew snot everywhere, left some hair in the GT emblem on the fender and left a few small dents.. nothing too major that a paintless dent repair guy cant fix...

damn thing ran off, couldnt find it... so somewhere out there is a deer looking for some tylenol..

Damn old coach banff road , ive seen a few run across the street this week.

This one time, (sounds like a band camp story lol), I was driving down from Strathcona and about 5 deer decided to cross the highway. I must have hit them at at least 80km/h. The two that I hit were pulverized and went airborne to the other side of the road. Thank god I was in my 79' Merc 450 SEL, a big solid German car, otherwise I really think that something could have happened. I had a few dents and it ripped off my side mirror (the glass of which was run over by another car and caused damage to his tire).

It was quite unbelivable, I have heard stories of these things hitting cars, going over the hood and their antlers going through both the driver and part way through the seat.
