The SABMW Club's website looks pretty gay! haha
Maybe we can ask Rage for a subsection like the MR2 owners.

I checked out that Southern Alberta BMW Website and they charge $60!??! LOL:rofl: Not to mention the site looks like a complete ass:dunno:

Anyway, I've got good news. After talking it over with rage2, we are going to get a subsection going in the affiliated section of this forum. It's for all BMW enthusiasts, also meant as a way for Beyond to attract other BMW members and have the site grow.

Good to hear, the SABMW club is kinda lame. I used to be a member but couldn't see the point as I'm not much for the wine and cheese crowd...we need a 'enthusiast' group that enjoy the 'ultimate driving machine' even if its powered by a chevy engine

Have you ever attended an actuall SABMW club track event? I have been an active member for two years now and the Driving School and Autocrosses they put on are outstanding!! Yes it is an older crowed but i hardly agree that they are not to be considered an 'ethusiast' crowd. A good portion of the members are club racers and real car gurus... yes they enjoy their wine and cheese but they also enjoy their cars enthusiastic driving!

Umm ya, club track event, you mean driver training...my point was they don't do lapping days, and won't. A good portion of the members are club racers? I can name maybe one, Lance and his M3, not sure I've seen anyone else that races a BMW. Maybe a 2002 or 2. Hardly a good portion of the members.

Well i guess you're entitled to your opinion and I'm biased due to the fact that all my track driving experience has been through their programs.:D Regardless they do know how to throw a damn good driving school even if they're all old enough to be my dad.
