Yeah Baby!

I'm getting the one that has TWO grand prix victories. That extra $120k is no biggie...

Nice to have a car that will expire after 500km at a bargain price of $1.5mil US.

And I thought my car was expensive to maintain...

LOL

drop the rev limiter by 1000rpm and it'll last 1000km's!

Right, and isn't that just fantastic!!!

Let's see.

That's $1.5mil US for the car.
I get 1000km if I drive it nicely.
That's $1,500 US per KM...
So about $2,000 CDN per KM that I drive...
If I drive it around slowly at an average of 150km/Hour...

So, if I use it until it expires, it will cost me about $300,000 CDN per hour of F1 enjoyment.

Smokin' deal.

And if I'm lucky, I'll get to use my F1 car for 6-7 hours before it blows up!

Damn, you don't just have to be rich to buy one of those, you have to be absolutely crazy rich.

To put it in perspective, I could be nice and sell trips around Race City for about $7500.00 which really just barely covers my cost. You only get 1 lap for your money though... LOL

They don't even know if it will last 1000kms by dropping the rev limiter, they are just guessing haha.

totally worth it. I would love to have a car that can do 3gs continuous around a skidpad. This would be the ULTIMATE conversation piece, and absolutely everyone at the track would crowd this thing.

I'm sure the engine can be rebuilt. These cars are used for more than 1 race ya know :).

yeah there is more then likely a 100hp in that 1000rpm!!! But that is great that you get the engines, everyother time i have seen chassies up for sale it is with no engine

all depands on what goes on the engine, if the engine blows then even at 17,000 rpm there is not much left of them.

It's light enough to put on wires. Hang it above your dinner table in your 30 foot vaulted ceiling mansion living room!:D

BTW, older cars from the 90s and such 'only' run 500-700k US.
