That's true, but the STi's only put between 210 and 220hp to the wheels. Handling it better though.

That's a little high! Anyways stop the SRT vs STi madness please! Both are good cars and both have their advantages and disadvantages. Besides we all know EVO 8s are better than both ;)
Go test drive them both and see what you think! I tried test driving an SRT 4 at Tower Crysler but they wouldn't let me :thumbsdow. Said something about a credit check first...

Ehh what are you talking about ? when did sti and srt-4 get put together lol. Both are fine cars , as for evo-8 better than both? you would know this why lol.

Anyways the original post was about misinformation on the STi , dont post facts if you dont know what your talking about.

interesting
i test drove an srt4 at the chrysler/dodge dealership near the downtown core by bow trail there
they were so enthusiastic i had called to test drive one they wanted to get me there right away
they annoying thing tho was when i didnt go right away and they called me back and even after i did the test drive they called me back a couple more times to see if i needed to go again

srt4 is outclassed but hey for the money you cannot compare look at the upgrades you can do to the little srt4 for the price but it will always be fwd. I drove an srt4 and i was very impressed but cannot compare.

I hear you can pick up brand new SRT4 for about $25,000 after all the discounting. 1/2 price of a new STi... If I had to choose now, I would buy the SRT4... haha

The only thing i posted about the STi was that i thought the 250 hp was high. I've seen them test anywhere from 220-260 hp depending on the dyno used. And you guys (srt and sti owners) always compare your cars in these threads. It's not like Im the first one to put the two in the same sentence!
