Did anyone get some new posters at the sale at U of C? A lot of them are cool but not really worth $10-20 for one. They have too many movie posters as well.

i was so tempted to get the murcelago poster!! i duno they are still there till friday so well see.. they need more posters of girls with cars thats pho sho! ahahha.. oh and the computer made rx7poster is so gay.. i might buy the one that says dont drink and drive smoke and fly with bob marley AHAHAHA

I bought them one year.. bought the Piano Man, Green Street, Godfather 3, and a Ducati poster..

that's about it.. they were pricey.. i had cash to blow and my computer room needed some refreshing :D

I got three:

The one of the New York skyline...pretty neat to have a clear memory of what it looked like before sept 11.

I also got the M3 one that says "Oh ya, a PhD is pretty impressive too"

and the one with the house on the coast, and the 5 exotics that says "Reasons for higher education" or sotin like that.

I got:

Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon
Pink Floyd: Album Covers
Jimi Hendrix: Purple Haze

I am getting them all plaque mounted at blacks. The 24x36 posters are about $50 to plaque mount there. They look great and will NEVER get ruined. Way better than just taping them or stapling them to your wall.

BTW Where its Art charges about $110 for the same service so go to blacks.

I kinda wish I got Raphael's 'School of Athens.' It was $28 so my knee-jerk reaction was not to get it but it was pretty cool...

I got the Muhammad Ali one where he is sparring in the ring and the quote is "Im so fast that when I shut the light off to go to bed, I was already in before the room was dark." or something like that haha its sweet
