and that crap in my shot is just some autogenerated files for autoconf/automake/etc that never seem to work right :(

Dunno, I can't find the page any more. But it took me a while to find ones I liked.

Here are two I have on my two computers at school which I had to fix so they'd look okay on the desk top:

Okay close or minimize all of the windows.

To the right of F12, there is a button that says "Print Screen/Sys RQ

Push it once.

Open up the paint program, and type CTRL+V at the same time

Your desktop will open up. Save it as a JPG file (at the bottom of the save as window, it says 24bit BMP, change it to JPG).

You're done. Close paint, and then post it like any other picture.

tried that....displays them independently. No way the stretch one image across both monitors. So I would end up with 2 pics on each monitor...

I used to have an giant "eye" on each screen....a giant pair of eyes staring at me...lol.

This screenshot stuff brings up an interesting point. I once got a computer in for service at my last job. The person was complaining that NOTHING on their desktop was working when you clicked on it. So after 2 second diagnosis I realized that someone had taken a screen shot of the persons desktop with all their icons, then removed everything from the screen including the start menu and hid all the icons, so the person was just clicking on the desktop.... LOL .... $80 thank you very much....
