View Full Version : FS- 90-91 d series clutch
90-91 honda d series clutch and pressure plate.
This clutch has less that 100 km on it! I swaped it out for a centerforce. The paint markings are still on the frictional surface of the clutch disk.. I paid $155 for this ---- $80.00

Well your offer was never accepted! Your an idiot if you can't tell a good clutch from a bad one.. Just because it slipped for a fraction of a second doesn't mean its a bad.
Get a job and buy a new one then!

Im an idiot? Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. Anyways, im still allowed to withdraw my offer even if you werent going to take it.
selling old clutches are we? well i got about 6! 4 of em were blown! one is cracked and another one is covered in oil! looking for about 50 bucks each!!!
BTW... Who the hell would want to buy a used clutch that was used to race? im not saying it isnt worth buying but raced with less than 100 kms it wasnt even broken in... imo thats probably why its already slipping... selling this thing and expecting money is equally stupid to someone buying it and paying money!
im sorry that i had to bring this thread back from the dead but i think people should read this!

i agree cp1, thats why i withdrew my 50 dollar offer after i found out it had been raced. He didnt accept the offer even before i withdrew it but hey he might of tried to come back to get the 50 when he realized that he was asking too much.

i think you guys are idiots for saying anything is wrong with trying to sell a used clutch.....are you running upwards of 180-200 hp with your civic and running an aftermarket stock replacement clutch??? i highly doubt it....if you buy a freezer, bring it home, and it doesnt' hold enough do you want it still??? no you'd take it back...and besides which you were bidding on a used clutch...any used parts are considered buyer beware...why don't you just be thankful he was honest with you, didn't rip you off, and stop being a fuckin idiot!!!
BUMP for a great honest guy and good seller!

yeah, thats exactly right, he said it had 100km, 100km of bagging it down the track with nitrous till it started to slip, not to mention it wasn't broken in correctly. Its a shady deal thats all.....umm da-di-du-ba-do

if' it's that shady then don't bid on it...go buy a new one for $200 then....that's the price you gotta pay sometimes...and buying a used clutch is always a risk, never a solid thing....
BUMP for a good guy
