The short block was assembled and machined by Competition Engines in Eagan, Minnetota and recipts for all work can be provided.

The intake was ported to match upper and lower and the lower intake speed bumps were smoothed out for a little better flow. The alternator, power steering pump MAP sesnor (3 bar),IAC,both temp sensors,MAT sensor, knock sesnor and pretty much every other sensor on the motor is brand new. The fuel pump is new and is the Walbro 255 lph pump. The distributor has ben re built with a new gear, pick up coil and ignition module (all GM parts). The intercooler has been changed to air to air and works very well (see LOW mat temps). I can provide more info on the intercooler if needed. The ABS has been removed and new lines installed. The clutch fan was removed and replaced with the Ford 3.8 electric fan. There are no cooling issuses what so ever and stays in the 180 to 185 range all day. The A/C has also been removed for weight.

The turbo and exhaust are kind of unique but work very well. I will list the turbo specs and other turbo related information below:

*T3/T4 Garett hybrid turbocharger
- .60 a/r Garett compressor housing with 57 trim turbonetics wheel
- .63 a/r Turbonetics 5 bolt turbine housing with turbonetics Stage V wheel
*Turbonetics Deltagate external wastegate
*Turbonetics manual boost controller
*3" downpipe with pyrometer and acomidations for two O2 sesnors (I did that to run a wideband and the stocker at the same time)
*3" exhaust exiting just behind the torsion bar crossover

Boost control is solid with no spikes or wavy boost curve. The truck also has ZERO knock under boost. I am still running the stock converter but boost comes on very quick and solid. I have been able to launch with 14 pounds of boost (no bull shit!) and the truck pulls very hard! Here is some pics of the engine bay and intercooler:

I am going to ask $9,500.00 firm for the truck. I would like to ask more but with no air conditioning, the higher miles and the salvage title mark I think it is a reasonable and fair price for anyone interested.

cool, but the intercooler, wtf?

turbo seems a bit small too, stage 5 exhaust wheel and .82 housing, but a hybrid on a 4.3 still seems small.

i still love those trucks though.

for REAL answers...
http://www.syty.net and talk to the old timers ther.

mention my name too and see what they say, i'm well known on that site, hahahaha :D

reading about the ic, it isn't very efficiend (less than 2 inches thick) and the turbo dodge people (state side) have found the plastic end tanks like to blow off under boost, so i would recomend replacing it with the stock water/air, or another air/air
