heres the deal........i have a 95 pathfinder for winter, and a 97 integra with a buncha stuff done to it now i just cant seem to stop the mod bug at all, keep it and turbo, cf trunk, new paint, new rims, (allready have drilled brembo disks and skunk2 springs in boxs.......or........

sell them both and buy either a 2001 QX4 SUV or a IS300 which are both way nicer and at a hole different level and very nice stock..

a 325CI! 2001 ya i never really looked at them there around 30k too arnt they ? pretty much the only style of bmw that i like(E46) i dont like the earlyer years stock(M3 gets the exception)...
i dont want anything over 30k or i would be looking at 350z and g35 too

get the is300 everyone has bimmers now that will definitly not work in your favour in the future if you wanna sell as well lexus reliability is almost unbeatable but i tell ya the is300 is gonna be redesigned in a year or 2 and they are gonna offer a coupe version just so you know.:D

well an is300 wouldnt be as good for winter as qx4 would obviously. but it all comes down to , if u've had all the fun u will with speed, or if u still wana make ur car fast/track ur car, and all that fun stuff. if u crave mroe speed, get a 350z or g35 and make em fast, and for winter get an older cheaper suv than ur pathfinder ( or keep ur current one). if ur done with speed, i say go with g35x sedan, bmw 330xi/325xi, cuz those cars are defintly a step up in terms of class, and will run u in the winter.

I assume you head out to your cabin or outside city a lot.

If you want to keep 2 cars, there's nothing wrong with what you've picked as upgrades.

But if you want to just keep a single car, may be to Subaru Legacy 2.5GT? Granted that build quality is no match for BMW or Lexus but the engine/awd is excellent.

some good input thanks guys, i do want 1 car ONLY im sick of having a summer/winter iv done that for almost 4 years now

and as for am i being done with speed? pretty much yes i really dont give a crap much anymore i dont need to drive super fast like a jackass endangering other drivers and the tickets and insurance hikes arnt work it and i put my own car and me at risk. a is300 or a 323 are still going to go fast so its all good im not worried if they can do 14s at the track cause i want a nice looking very luxuryious car now. a step up to a hole new level

A Bimmer is a dime a dozen, even though I own one (Doesnt mean I hate it)
I would consider the IS300, I've only seen 2 in Calgary with nice mods done to it. Its classy and you got the old supra motor.

But if you just want a simple car with some mods, get the bimmer.:D

Sounds like someone just hit 30.

If luxo is more important than sport:

05 TL: $42K-$45K, interior is awesome
05 RL: $70K, 300HP with probably the most technological advance AWD on the market AND interior is awesome.

hitting 30? im 18 and im already trading in for a BMW IMO luxury is better then sport, you dont have to be old to enjoy a BMW or a Lexus.

what about a used jag x-type. its got the awd for the winter and has the luxury you want. but like the subaru it wont have the same quality as a bmw, its still just a high end Ford

Jags are definitely for the older crowd.

yeah i think u should upgrade man... another thought might be a newer style 5 series.... 1997 +, that means they have the newer angel eye headlights as well as hidz, and if u shop around u can pick one up with a 6 speed tranny.... and u cant tell me an 8 cylinder car pumping around 394 hp and 368tq to the fly's through a 6 speed would not keep u happy.... plus the car is more luxurious than a is300 or infinity, or even a new 3 series bimmer...

luderollup
10-09-2004, 01:29 PM
both these pics are from 97 5 series.... tom man toss on some 20' Lexanis or Dat's, and ur done.. u would snap necks runnin down the red mile..

statick
10-09-2004, 03:06 PM
thatd be a good choice, but a brand new G35x, would also run u really good in the winter.

luderollup
10-09-2004, 04:00 PM
yeah then u are looking at 45 G's bud... he wants to keep it around 30 max

hotwheels has a sick ass BMW 5 series, 6 speed, and its on sale for around 26 i beleive from over 30

statick
10-10-2004, 02:17 PM
u mite be able to findone used, or else u could get just the G35, no x...but then its just as good as a 5 series. also an older E320 4matic wouldnt be a bad idea.
