WTB: Nissan VG30ET

Looking for a good condition turbo motor from an '84-89 300zx. Must have low compression pistons, so I dont want a non turbo motor with the turbo bolted onto it. I don't need the turbo charger or exhaust manifolds, but they would be prefered.

I am also looking for the stock turbo downpipe.

Why not use the n/a motor scott? With the turbo fuel/ecu. Just run a good sized intercooler and the 9.0:1 will rip. That is the compression I will be running on my new motor. Also the stock 7.8 pistons are a little low for my liking. Anyways...BUMP.

Also JDMsource can get you them for a pretty good price with low km's. I think they told me 1600.

There was one for sale in the bargain finder about 3 weeks ago, it may still be out there (check old copies). As for the n/a to turbo mod I'm with Jason as long as you run the turbo injectors and ECU you'll be fine. You may want to keep the boost below 6 to 8 PSI and install an intercooler for some add piece of mind.

I saw 3 NA engines in a few Z31.5 in pick your part recently if rebuilding is an option... are you goning to be running alot of boost? because if not the NA pistons, turbo injectors, ecu with 8psi would be killer.

Dumb idea^. Less horsepower and displacement all for what?? A little less weight. Nobody has ever made 1200hp on a rb20.
