View Full Version : Shipping a car from surry to calgary?

hey i live in calgary and i quite possibly will be shipping my corolla to surry BC and posibly shipping an rx7 from there to me.

i'm wondering where a good cheep place would be to go inorder to get this done?

any ideas or suggestions?

drive to Surry and drop off the corolla, then jump into the rx7 and drive back to Calgary. Presto!

I belive its relativly cheap. if i can remember correctly its like $150ish but thats one way. theres a guy i work with who shipps motorcycles all the time i will get the name of his shipper and i will PM you with further info

Get a truck with a flatbed trailer. Tow the Corrola out and bring the RX-7 back.

If you ship it on the train it will probably cost you $500.

Do a search on this board. There are so many threads on this subject.

I would rent a truck and trailer and take it out there and drive the other car back.

I ship vehicles daily. I use Car Couriers 637-2774 or Millenium (will get the number on Tues or look it up) they are out of Delta (ask for Judy)
No point in using the train as it will cost you way more and it will take longer. Where as The Trucking version is pretty much a drop off pick up almost anywhere situation.

wow thanx for all the responses guys it looks like i got a couple options to pic from now looks like i'm just sending my corolla so just a 1 way trip!
