Anyone recently taken the test ?? After 24 years living in Canada , I'm getting my Citizenship. I'm taking the test next week.

Approximately how long did the test take ??

I took half an hour when I did mine. I believe it have 40 MC question.

How long did it take from sending in the paperwork to test time?
I have my paperwork almost ready to go....
11 years next month........

Its pretty easy I took it this year. Just read the handbook and you'll be fine.:thumbsup:

I decided to do it when I was preparing the paperwork for my
Permanent Resident Card. That was November last year .
So it's been 11 months so far...

On a related note ..just saw on the news a bunch of Fed swivel servants are on strike at Harry Hay's. That's where I'm taking the
test next Tuesday.

Did the test today (Oct 18 ). It's very easy. 20 questions ,pass is 60% .
Citizenship Ceremony will be sometime after February due to a back log and a "new computer system". Government agencies ALWAYS use that excuse :rolleyes: .

So that would make make it 15 months from sending in the docs to becoming a Canadian citizen .
