That gauge set up rocks EXCEPT when the sun is really low then u just can't see it at all. but seriously how many times do you look at your speed in the city and care? the shift light it really nice when u are gunning it cause your goign so fast u forget to shift! also mostly i've just heard mag'z say that the set up is bad eveyrone i kno with a kawi loves them

Speed is addictive and the human brain is programmed to get used to it. What feels fast at first doing 200 does not feel fast after a bit of time anymore. And then you go up to 250 and then 300 and it doesn't feel bad at all. Speed is like time, just a number.

No more adrenaline rush here. Doing 200+ on the bike feels like if you were doing 100 in a car. Do you get an adrenaline rush from doing 100 in a car?

My bike maxes out somewhere between 260 and 270 cause of the gearing change, although it displays 299, but when I reach that redline and the bike wont go any faster I just :banghead: but no adrenaline rush what so ever. In summer I max it out a few times a week, sometimes a few times a day... and I know many more that do the same... nothing special really, just hang on, duck down, look in front of you and pray that your wheels stay on and that you don't get a piston in your face. :devil:
