hey,

I have a 1985 Corolla GTS (120,000 k) in great shape, no rust... that i am looking to sell. What can i expect to get for it?

It has the twin-cam 16 valve... does this make it an AE86--what exactly is that anyways?.

It would be an AE86 as its DOHC. Its and AE85 if its a SOHC.:)

Being a simpleminded newbie american, I have no idea what DOHC and SOHC means, and I could'nt get on to the club4ag site. The vin number has AE88 in it. So is the car worth more than bluebook.

OMG!!! You have Corolla GTS, yet you don't know what DOHC, AE86 means?? What about Trueno?? You need to watch some Initial D!! Just playing with you man :D

I think you might get at least $1000 USD for it cause of all the drifting & Initial D hype which has artificially increased the value of these cars.

nope all rwd corollas from 85-87 in the states are ae86s. ae85s have a 1.5l engine.
