My friend got paid by personal cheque from a friend for doing some lawn work...the only problem is, is his dog got a hold of the cheque from his jeans and ate part of it......I think he ate one of the digits for the account number. Will my friend still be able to cash the cheque or will he have to go through the hassle of getting a whole new cheque from his friend?

he definitely needs a new cheque. the machine cant process a cheque when the acct number is missing.
