Insurance is still my number 1 enemy, I don't feel that it is justifiable to pay close to $10K for insurance on a sports car unless its a Porsche or Ferrari

Especially as a student, still need to eat and go out hahaha

When I phoned my Insurance, they told me 5500 - 6000.

Highest I've been quoted for car is 8000 for an RSX or a Supra.

350Z suprised me by the price :thumbsup:

ya even though I've never experience brembo breaks but just all the close encounters I've head.. its definately a must if there is the options in any car.. whats this.. the 350z breaks in something like 164 ft?? dam

Insurance is rated much differently now than several years ago. It used to be just based on price and how many doors the car has. Now its got all kinds of crazy factors, like theft rate, repair costs, number of claims, number of accidents. Its hard to predict. The 350Z is new with no real history to affect its rating. The RSX is using the insurance history of the Integra which is not good at all.

Porsche has terrible interior too, but because of the porsche name people think it is nice. The interior of the 350Z although I haven't seen it, it probably as nice as a porsche 911.

I haven't seen one of them yet, but they look like NICE cars from the commercials I've seen anyway. When I'm 18, I'm gonna go on a test-driving spree, and test drive as many vehicles as I can, and the ones that I want. I think the 350Z looks like a f*kin' NICE car :D I'd love to own one, but then again, I'd love to own one of these. M3's are one of BMW's nicest cars, in my opinion. Others may say otherwise...

Yeah I've heard that a lot about Porsches, which is pretty disappointing for the price you pay. Aside from the Turbo, pretty much every Porsche is overpriced in my opinion.

I like the 350z, but personally i think I'd rather have the G35 coupe, i think the back end looks nicer. Sweet cars though.

Depends what you like, I guess. I think the M5 is far too heavy and way too big for its sporting pretentions.

If it lost about 500lbs and gained 100hp, then I think it would be about as fun to drive as an E46 M3.. if you are looking for a luxury car that handles well and has lots of power, then I would probably prefer a 540i due to the significantly lower cost, lower profile and smoother ride.

I'd love to get an E46 M3 lightweight.. I think that would be a great car.. the current one is too plush and does not have a hard enough edge for my liking.

Just my opinion though :) Plus the M5 isn't available with SMG.
