Anyone has any experience with Toyo Proxes TPT or Michelin Pilot A/S 225-50-17? Michelin is more expensive, but does it worth $200 more for the whole set? My goal is to have good traction in snow and rain, while keeping it for the summer.

I am planning to purchase Toyo for $1040, incl. tax&installation.

Thank-you for your feedback.

You guys get more snow than us. I would rather spend good $$ on a set of winter and get some real performance tire once your OEM are burnt off.

the Bridgestones that come on this car (SE model anyway) are awful on snow and ice... The traction control is always flashing... and the abs is always pulsing... look into the blizzaks as well... if your spending that much why not just get a winter beater? Save the Maxima

I have proxes on My max, it's not a 2003, but they seem to work fine for winter. They work a whole hell of a lot better than the stock summers on Hampstors spec V, I always end up driving him around for the first little while cause he never installs winters till too late. bah.
