Hello,

I'm putting up a 1989 Toyota Supra Turbo with a rebuilt motor for sale here in Alberta. The car is in excellent shape (inside & out), and has extensive motor work done to it, along with thousands of dollars invested in new parts in the past month. All the new parts and motor work have under 100 km's driven on them, and the car is now parked for the winter. The car has 160,000 kms on the body.

Here are some of the specs:
- 3.0L, 24 Valve, Twin Cam, Turbocharged & Intercooled, Inline 6 Cylinder
- Automatic Transmission w/Overdrive
- Targa Roof
- Power everything
- 4 wheel disc brakes with ABS
- Limited Slip differential
- Deluxe cloth trimmed interior
- Tilt and telescopic steering

In the last year the car has had: Full top end refresh including new OEM headgasket w/ARP bolts. New Toyota Head. New Flexalite dual fans, new KONI struts, Complete new brakes (KVR carbon fibre pads, stainless lines, rotors, fluid flush), Rebuilt turbocharger (Alamao Industries), total fluid changes (transmission, differential, coolant, power steering, brakes), New motor mounts, New ball joints, Full tuneup with wires, plugs, fuel filter, air filter. New rad, thermo, cap, and hoses. New battery. The car doesn't leak, or smoke. It runs great, and boosts even better. The car also comes with 16'' aftermarket rims, with new AVON 245/50/16 rear tires (90%+ tread left) bought last summer.

I'll let the pictures do the rest of the talking: (Note, front lip has been replaced since the pictures have been taken)

These were taken last weekend after the motor work was done, and the wheels installed. Hasn't even been waxed yet (doing that this coming weekend).

These pictures were taken in the late summer, but they show you the interior condition (same as today), and more angles of the car. White wheels not included :)

This car is great for anyone who wants to get into Supras and has plenty of power, and is ready to drive off stock and be a strong motor for many more miles to come, or a great platform to start modding to make some real power :)

Its going in the auto trader this week at $7,600 OBO, I am currently entertaining offers. Sorry, no trades :)

Forgot to add the power rating for this car...

89-92 Supras come with 232 HP & 256 TQ in stock form. With the Electric cooling fans, rebuilt turbo, shimmed wastegate, and overall healthy fresh state of this engine, it should be making 30-40 more horsepower than stock form (due to less strain on the crank pulley without the stock fan, and more boost via the shimmed wastegate). I've kept this car mostly stock in the engine performance modifications area (asides from things that can make it run basically better [Fuel miliage etc]), and its very quick & peppy in this form.

If you are interested in purchasing the car with a little more power (ie 350+ RWHP), that can be arranged as well (with extra cost of course, but at a discount if purchased with the car).

I've done a lot of work on the 7M motor and have pushed out 435 rwhp untuned on my own Supra, with hopes of breaking 550+ rwhp on my setup, and have been featured on 7MPower.com (http://www.7mpower.com) under one of the top 7M Supra's in North America, so I am very familiar with this car ;) It can be as basic as a new 3'' exhaust system and intake, to more extensive modifications like a larger intercooler and hard pipes, to complete fuel system upgrades.

Just a quick question. Is there much involved with swapping manual trans ie. pedals electrical ect.

Brysta
11-30-2004, 01:08 AM
The parts to swap to manual transmission is pretty straight forward, and hardest part is most likely mounting the pedals. Rest is a peice of cake. As stated before, I have a W58 5speed transmission i will throw in if needed.

Thanks for the info. Nice ride! Unfortunatley for me the timing isnt right to be buying. The supra I have now body wise is in not too good of shape but is still fun to drive. I really want to get my hands on a nice turbo 5 speed. Hopefully in the spring I'll be ready to buy. Yours is pretty much what im looking for, especially the color.:) Sucks being broke.LOL
