Im looking for a decent SUV or truck for the winter. Price range I want hopefully under 10K, but willing to go a little higher.
Can anyone suggests any second-hand SUV's or trucks?

Nothing stops a Jeep. Seriously, I had a 93 Grand Cherokee Limited and it was one of the most solid, comfortable, and practical vehicles I've ever owned.

id go with a Suzuki Sidekick or a Grand Vitara. Pathfinders are good also
