haha pretty cool, I cut my little dragon out and it works pretty good! Put it in a corner so you can never get out of the field of view and lose the illusion.

Just finished mine. It works well, but the illusion is amplified and seems much more believable on camera. You have to really concentrate on the eyes for it to work well.

You just have to place it kinda far away and it works well in real life, as well as on camera. Assuming you did a good cut and glue job!

I spent 1/2 hour on the can carefully cutting that dragon out haha.

it needs to be in a well lit place also to prevent a shadow and expose the folds

wow nutty, but in truth i feel stupid knowing that its just a picture of a squared faced dragon, BUT then again it looks crazy and i'll just use it to kill time

Yeh, placing it further away made it quicker for my eye to pick up :D I had it about 1 meter away from me the first time around.. and I did do a good job, see!!! I even used matte paper :nut:

It's weird, some people can't see the illusion, but most people can. My wife can't see it, and my boss at work can't see it either. They both wear glasses/contacts, not sure if that has to do with anything.

One of my sisters could not see it either, no matter where she stood or how long she stared at it.

The others (including myself) see it immediately. None wear glasses.

Maybe it works better if you close one eye to kill your depth perception. :dunno:

Ummmm I did, and my eyes & brain were stilling picking up the fold lines on the head. Like Rage kinda unofficially proved, people with contacts/glasses can't see it too well, and guess what, I wear contacts.
