I have a 1990 civic with a si swap. I got it completely wired by a local and then double checked by a honda guy. It is throwing one code in the distributor, code number 4. It will rev up but only to like 2,000rpms and then starts to cut out kind of like a rev limiter. The timing has been set 3 times and is right. The distributor is only about 1 yr old. Any suggestion or do you think it is in the distributor too and i need a new one?

stock 88-91 si ecu...not sure on the numbers

If its the CAS then you might need a new dizzy, ensure your harness to the distributor is pinned correctly.

hey man im hvin the exact same prob i can only rev to 3000 rpm

tell me if you find anyhitng ps u can try my dizzy if i can try your ecu lol

Were jsut finishing a 95 si swap into a 90 DX today we will let you peopel know if we got the same problem then maybe we can help you guys out.

can some one send me the directions for wiring a dpfi into a mpfi i am thinking maybe the ones i used are incorect

i fixed the problem now and my other ecu is bad from what i determined...thanks
